- The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation
Today, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation granted the claim of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov and recognized the International Public Movement "AllatRa" as an extremist organization.
In August 2023, the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia declared the movement's activities undesirable.
However, despite the established prohibitions, its activists currently continue to participate in the non-governmental organization and commit illegal actions in the interests of the AllatRa International Public Movement, attempting to carry out extremist activities in our country.
Criminal cases under Article 284.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (carrying out activities of an international organization, in respect of which a decision has been made to recognize its activities as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation) have been initiated against more than 20 volunteers of the movement; some of these cases have already been considered by the court with guilty verdicts being passed. A number of members of the organization have been brought to administrative responsibility under Article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity).
The above circumstances served as the basis for the Russian Prosecutor General's appeal with a claim to recognize the movement as extremist and ban its activities on the territory of the Russian Federation. At the court hearing, the court came to the conclusion that the demands made by the head of the supervisory agency were justified and satisfied the claim in full.
