Thanks to the joint work of the competent authorities of the Russian Federation and Belarus, in the first quarter of 2025, in accordance with the decision of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia on extradition, 62 persons were extradited to the Republic of Belarus (6 for crimes against life and health, 45 for crimes against property, 9 for crimes against the order of governance, 1 each for crimes against freedom, honor, dignity and public safety).
Among those extradited to the Belarusian side is Ms. Alina Kalatskaya , who fraudulently stole money from 38 citizens totaling over 171 thousand Belarusian rubles under the pretext of providing tourist services.
In addition among those extradited to the Republic of Belarus was the head of two commercial firms Mr. Vladislav Aleksyun, who acting as part of an organized group, under the guise of fulfilling contractual obligations, seized the property of 38 business entities for a total amount of over 1.3 million Belarusian rubles.
Also extradited to the competent authorities of the Republic of Belarus was Mr. Artem Strachinsky , who, according to the investigation, organized the illegal transit through the Republic of Belarus to Poland of four foreign citizens, ensuring their delivery to the border zone of the Pruzhany district of the Brest region for illegally crossing the state border and further travel to the countries of the European Union
At the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia, 13 individuals were extradited from Belarus for criminal prosecution during the specified period (3 for crimes against life and health, 7 for crimes against property, 3 for crimes against public health and public morality).
According to the investigation, while in Moscow, Georgy Savchenko, under the pretext of developing, manufacturing and supplying equipment for a biomedical waste disposal facility, stole funds from a commercial organization totaling over 19 million rubles.
Citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan Zikriolloh Zukhurzoda was handed over to the Russian side to face criminal charges for the armed robbery of two people near a shopping center in Moscow. Together with an accomplice, they stole 5.8 million rubles from one of the victims.
Joint work between the competent authorities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus on the extradition of wanted persons will continue.
