The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation extradited 6 persons to the competent authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan for criminal prosecution.
Murodjon Muminov is accused of the fact that, in August 2020, in the territory of the Russian Federation, by deceit and abuse of trust, under the pretense of assisting in purchasing airline tickets to the Republic of Uzbekistan, he misappropriated money of four compatriots in the amount of 200 000 rubles.
Ulugbek Sattarov is accused of the fact that, in August 2014, in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, doing that not for the first time, by deceit and abuse of trust, under the pretense of organization of joint business, he misappropriated money of acquaintances in the amount of 10 000 US dollars, 24 200 000 soms, 2 000 US dollars, and caused substantial financial damage to them.
Murodjon Mamatov is accused of the fact that, in August 2018, in the Buvayda District of the Fergana Region, he fraudulently misappropriated the victim’s property in the amount of 63 200 000 soms.
Doniyorbek Kholmatov is accused of the fact that, in November 2019, in the territory of the Oltiariq District of the Fergana Region, he stole the victim’s money in the amount of 97 400 000 soms and 2 900 US dollars, and caused damage on an especially large scale.
After that, in January 2020, Kholmatov, continuing his criminal activity, stole 3 800 US dollars from his acquaintance, and caused damage on a large scale.
Bakhtiyor Azizov is accused of the fact that, in October 2018, in the territory of the city of Fergana of the Fergana Region, acting by previous concert with another person, he misappropriated money of a woman, and caused damage in the amount of 3 700 US dollars to her.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, on June 16, 2021, also granted the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan for extradition of Azizbek Yusupov for execution of the sentence of the Fergana City Court.
Yusupov was convicted under Article 169 (2) (b, c, d) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan by the Fergana Criminal Court (Criminal Court of the City of Fergana), and he was sentenced to 4 years of deprivation of freedom.
It has been established that, in March 2016, in the city of Fergana of the Fergana Region, Yusupov, together with accomplices, broke a window and entered another person’s flat, from which he stole property in the amount of 24 913 400 soms.
The Guliston District Criminal Court (Criminal Court of the Guliston District) of the Sirdarya Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on 20.11.2017, changed the unserved part of the punishment in the form of deprivation of freedom for the period of 2 years 7 months and 28 days for Yusupov with corrective work for the same period.
Due to the fact that Yusupov had evaded the service of the sentence, by the decision of the Margilan City Criminal Court of the Fergana Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 07.02.2020, the unserved part of the punishment in the form of corrective work for the period of 1 year 10 months and 28 days was changed for him with deprivation of freedom for the same period.
The mentioned persons, at a different time, were detained in the territory of the Russian Federation. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan prepared proper requests for their extradition.
The decisions of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation on their extradition have entered into legal force, and the Federal Penitentiary Service was instructed to carry out their handover, subject to necessary security measures.
Accompanied by a special escort, Murodjon Muminov, Ulugbek Sattarov, Murodjon Mamatov, Doniyorbek Kholmatov, Bakhtiyor Azizov, and Azizbek Yusupov were delivered to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Persons accused of property crimes were extradited from Russia to Uzbekistan
