The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation complied with the request of the competent authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan on extradition of Azamat Alibaev, Karim Boltaev, Umid Ergashev, Sodirzhon Umarov and Muzaffarzhon Sidikov for criminal prosecution.
Alibaev is charged with the assault resulting in bodily injures of average gravity in March 2021.
Boltaev, dangerous recidivist, is charged with fraudulently stealing monetary funds of citizens in considerable amount in July 2019.
Ergashev is charged with stealing a vehicle and money of the victims by way of deceit and breach of trust.
Umarov, being previously convicted, is charged with the fact that acting in June - August 2021, together with his accomplices, under the pretense of patronage and using violence, demanded monthly payments in amount of 500 US dollars from entrepreneurs and took possession of their money by way of extortion.
Sidikov is charged with the fact that by deceit and breach of trust, under the pretense of rent and sale of construction materials, stole money of customers.
These citizens were detained on the territory of the Russian Federation in different periods. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan prepared corresponding requests for their extradition.
The decisions of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation on extradition entered into their legal force. The Federal Penitentiary Service was instructed to arrange handing over of the persons subject to the necessary security measures.
Special convoy escorted the accused persons to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Citizens charged with fraud, extortion and infliction of bodily harm extradited to Uzbekistan
