He was greeted at the plane’s ramp by Alexey Labetskiy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Federative Republic of Brazil, and Celso de Albuquerque Silva, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic.
The Prosecutors General of the participating countries will discuss issues of international cooperation in countering transnational organized crime, including human trafficking, cybercrime, environmental crimes, as well as the use of new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve institutional capabilities and access to justice.
The event is being held for the first time. Its goal is to create a global platform for dialogue between prosecutors general and constructive discussion of strategic legal issues of our time. As a result, the participants are to approve the PG20 Rio Declaration.
Igor Krasnov will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with foreign colleagues, during which an exchange of opinions will take place, the best practices of prosecutorial services will be considered, and joint ways to improve work efficiency will be developed.

Igor Krasnov arrived in Rio de Janeiro to participate in the First Summit of Heads of Prosecution Services of G20 members – PG20
