At the airport the Prosecutor General of Russia was met by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov and the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev.
Igor Krasnov will participate in the High-Level Plenary Session of the 29th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). This year, the participation of the law enforcement community in the climate summit is organized by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, co-chaired by the Ministry of Interior of the United Arab Emirates. Its purpose is to highlight the importance of enhancing the capacity of law enforcement agencies to combat crimes that affect the environment.
The head of the Russian supervisory agency also plans to hold a number of meetings with foreign colleagues.
