Representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia participated in a working meeting with Belarusian colleagues dedicated to combating drug trafficking from abroad through the territory of the common state

In the framework of cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Offices of Russia and Belarus, employees of supervisory agencies discussed in Minsk the operational situation in the field of drug smuggling and exchanged positive experience in coordination activities.

The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Supervision over Compliance with Laws on Transport and in the Customs Sphere Vladimir Tyulkov and a representative of the General Department of International Legal Cooperation, who in their speeches noted the warm friendly relations between the countries, emphasizing that the working meeting helped to outline additional measures to counter drug crime.

Providing law enforcement and legal assistance in criminal cases greatly contributes to the investigation of crimes in the field of drug trafficking and bringing perpetrators to justice, in connection with which the event participants expressed hope for the continuation and strengthening of further cooperation in this area.
