Canadian non-governmental organization has been recognized as undesirable in Russia
  Text

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has made a decision to recognize the activities of the foreign non-governmental organization “Canadian Center for Development of Democracy in Russia” (Canada) as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The center was established in 2015 in Montreal and works closely with extremist and undesirable organizations.

Its participants are lobbying for amendments to the Canadian legislation to tighten anti-Russian sanctions, making active efforts to disrupt the “Immortal Regiment” marches in Canada, spreading calls for protests in Russian cities on social networks, and calling on the Canadian government to supply defensive weapons to Ukraine.
